Authorized Battle Motors (Formerly Crane Carrier) Service, Repair, Maintenance, and OEM Parts

The City of Pasadena Department of Public Works, Building Systems and Fleet Management Division (BSFMD) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide authorized Battle Motors (formerly Crane Carrier Company) vehicle service, repair, maintenance, and OEM parts on an as-needed basis. The selected vendor will be responsible for supporting the City's sanitation fleet operated by the Resource Recovery and Recycling (RRR) Division, including rear loading and automated side loading refuse vehicles. The scope of work includes preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, engine services, and parts supply. The vendor must be an authorized service and parts provider for Battle Motors and have a minimum of three years of experience providing parts and repair services for Battle Motors & Crane Carrier equipment. • Preventative maintenance • Diagnostics and repair of heavy-duty refuse vehicle systems • Emissions system diagnostics and repair • Electrical system diagnostics and repairs • Cab-forward vehicle control system diagnostics and repairs • Integration diagnostics between Battle Motors/Crane Carrier chassis systems and installed refuse body systems • Manufacturer-required service procedures, recalls, and technical service bulletins • Use of proprietary diagnostic systems and software platforms • Removal and installation of components required to complete authorized repairs
