Budget estimate

$150,000 – $500,000

Based on the quantities listed (approximately 1,900 cu ft of media removal and multiple installation items) and typical market rates for water‑treatment plant refurbishment in Connecticut, the contract value is likely to fall between $150,000 and $500,000. The lower end assumes minimal labor rates and reuse of existing equipment; the higher end accounts for full material costs, specialized activated‑carbon media, extensive pipe and valve work, and the required bonding and insurance. Factors influencing the final amount include the price of granular activated carbon, disposal fees for the old media, and any unforeseen site conditions discovered during the pre‑bid meeting.
