Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services Project: Old Town of Santa Rosa Foreman Property Phase 1- Nellie Drive Extension

The Walton County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a qualified consultant to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for the Old Town of Santa Rosa Foreman Property Phase 1 - Nellie Drive Extension Project. The selected consultant will be responsible for administering, monitoring, and inspecting the work performed under the County's construction contract. The scope of services includes observing contractor operations, maintaining accurate daily diaries and pay-item documentation, conducting field tests and materials verification, and verifying maintenance of traffic compliance and public safety. The consultant will also be responsible for reviewing and recommending supplemental agreements, time extensions, and change orders, and coordinating with the County's Engineering Division and Project Manager. Some key points to consider: • The consultant must have FDOT prequalification in relevant work groups for CEI services. • The consultant must have experience providing CEI services for roadway reconstruction and multi-use path projects of similar size and complexity. • The consultant must be familiar with FDOT and County standards, procedures, and reporting requirements. • The consultant must have available qualified personnel, including a registered Florida Professional Engineer, inspectors, and materials testing staff.
