Dark Fiber Maintenance

The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group is giving notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Clarity Communications Group LLC, DBA Segra, on a sole source basis. The requirement is for connection and maintenance that will support four existing strands of single mode dark fiber. This connection is important for the off-site location to have reliable service. • The Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) has a requirement for connection and maintenance of dark fiber infrastructure. • Segra is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the dark fiber infrastructure and retains all rights required to provide the necessary connection and maintenance. • The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, but all responsible sources may submit a capability statement.
