4510--(2) Hot Water Heater Purchase For Bldg. 9

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to purchase two State (AO Smith) 119 Gas Water Heater BTH 500A 300 with a 3-year warranty for the Palo Alto VA Health Care System. The water heaters should have integrated electronic controls with advanced diagnostics, demands-response modulations, and iCOMM-compatible remote monitoring. The selected vendor will be required to deliver the water heaters to the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System. The contract will be awarded to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. • The water heaters must be compatible with the existing AO Smith monitoring system set-up at the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System. • The contractor must deliver the water heaters to the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System within the specified delivery date. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to equal opportunity, labor standards, and environmental protection. • The contractor must provide a warranty for the water heaters for a period of 3 years. • The contractor must provide maintenance and repair services for the water heaters as needed.
