SUBREGIONAL OPERATING GROUP SOUTHERN AVENUE INTERCEPTOR REHABILITATION PROJECTS 1, 2, 3, & 4

The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified consultant to provide professional design and possible construction administration and inspection services for the rehabilitation of large diameter sanitary sewer on the Sub-regional Operating Group (SROG) Southern Avenue Interceptor. The project consists of 9,790 feet of pipe and 82 manholes to be rehabilitated. The scope of services will focus on Projects 1, 2, 3, & 4 as identified in the 2025 Condition Assessment report. The consultant will be tasked to prepare design documents for construction and possible Construction Administration & Inspection Services. Key aspects of the project include: • Evaluating existing documentation and investigating repair and rehabilitation methods • Providing rehabilitation or repair design to correct all sewer and manholes defects • Assisting the City in obtaining all required permits, easements, and approvals for the work • Preparing and submitting project documents for review and approval • Assisting the City throughout the bidding period • Providing oversight of the project construction activities and inspecting the site through various stages of construction The City expects to create a final list of at least three, but not more than five teams for this project, and will enter into negotiations with the selected team to execute a contract.
