Description
The Town of Chesapeake Beach is seeking a contractor to provide general paving services, including milling and overlaying of existing roads. The contract will be for a fixed lump sum, and the contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. The town estimates that the work area will include 7,429 square yards of milling and overlay. The contractor will be required to provide a list of all subcontractors, along with a description of the work they will perform, and to obtain all necessary permits and approvals. The contract will be for a period of 90 consecutive calendar days, and the contractor will be required to complete the work within this timeframe. The town reserves the right to reject any bid that does not comply with the requirements of the solicitation.
• The contractor must provide equipment, material, labor, hauling, and other general services required to complete the milling and overlaying of existing roads and along curbs to the satisfaction of the Town Engineer.
• The work includes tack and utility top adjustments as necessary to meet final pavement grade.
• The contractor must provide a list of all subcontractors, along with a description of the work they will perform.
