The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is seeking bids for the SGY Klondike Highway Rockfall Mitigation project. The project involves mitigating rockfall hazards on Klondike Highway from MP 4.84 to 5.35 through scaling and stabilization. The Engineer's Estimate for the project is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. The project must be completed by December 31, 2026. • The project is a Federally funded project. • The project is a Race Neutral project as defined in Section 120 of the Specifications. • Plans, specifications, bid documents, reports, addenda, and other bidder information are available online for downloading free of charge. • Hard copies of the documents are available for a non-refundable fee of $100/set. • Companies owned by women, minorities, and people with disabilities are encouraged to bid.
