On-Call Environmental Construction Consulting Services

The County of Sacramento is soliciting proposals for on-call consulting services to assist with design, environmental protection, and documentation associated with construction of and improvements to environmental remediation and monitoring facilities. The selected consultant will provide on-call support services, including engineering design, biological and environmental pre-design and pre-construction surveys, permitting support, and geological logging and well design services. The consultant's staff should include a registered geologist or civil engineer, a staff biologist, and an electrical engineer. The initial term of the agreement is for a 24-month period, with the option to extend for up to three additional one-year terms. • The consultant will provide consulting services related to the installation of new groundwater monitoring and extraction wells. • The consultant will provide site assessment, environmental permitting, design services, and operational procedures related to the construction of new groundwater extraction and treatment facilities. • The consultant will assist DWMR staff in pre-design, design, and construction-related support in responding to regulatory or other agency orders for corrective action. • The consultant will provide a proposed rate sheet, including labor and other expenses necessary to complete the work outlined in the scope of work.
