Guardrail and Bridge Abutment Crash Attenuator

The City of Pontiac is seeking a contractor to provide removal, replacement, repair, and installation of roadway guardrail systems and bridge abutment crash attenuators. The scope of work includes removal and replacement of existing W-beam guardrail systems, installation of new MASH-compliant safety hardware, temporary traffic control, excavation and restoration, and repair or reset of damaged attenuator systems. The contractor must comply with MDOT Standard Specifications, applicable MDOT Standard Plans, AASHTO MASH requirements, MMUTCD traffic control standards, and any applicable Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) requirements. • The contract term will be for two years with a one-year option to renew. • The contractor must provide unit prices for each item listed in the proposal. • The contractor must have experience with guardrail and crash attenuator installation and repair. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonding. • The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and proof of workers' compensation insurance. • The contractor must comply with the City's non-discrimination and affirmative action policies.
