Description
The project involves repairing the natural gas distribution system at Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, and other items and services necessary for performing all operations required to repair the natural gas system. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety. The project includes multiple phases and zones, and the contractor must coordinate with the Construction Manager to ensure that the work is completed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Some key aspects of the project include:
• Repairing and replacing natural gas pipes and fittings
• Installing new valves, regulators, and meters
• Performing pressure and leak tests on the system
• Providing operation and maintenance data for the system
• Coordinating with the Utility company to make final connections and activate the system
