This project involves the full design‑build construction of new water distribution, sanitary sewer, and storm‑water drainage infrastructure for the Alden Bridge Section 114 Phase 2 development within The Woodlands Village. The work includes installation of 8‑in. PVC water lines, fire hydrants, valves, extensive sanitary sewer collection systems (pre‑cast manholes, PVC pipe cuts, video inspections), reinforced‑concrete drainage structures, detention facilities (sheet‑pile structures, cofferdams, rip‑rap), and associated site‑restoration activities such as de‑watering, grading, and landscaping. The contract is a lump‑sum, fixed‑price bid with a 120‑day performance period. • Water‑distribution system: 8‑in. PVC line, fire hydrants, valve stations, trench safety. • Sanitary‑sewer collection: pre‑cast manholes, PVC pipe installation, wet‑auger/casing, video inspections. • Storm‑water drainage & detention: concrete box culverts, reinforced manholes, sheet‑pile cofferdams, rip‑rap, grading, erosion control. • Additional site work: de‑watering, clearing, grub‑bing, sodding, waste haul‑off. • Competitive sealed‑bid process with seven qualified bidders; two optional alternates that reduce the base price.
