O-4525 Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Infrastructure for East and West Selmon Project Hillsborough County

The Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority is seeking qualifications for the design and construction of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) infrastructure for the East and West Selmon Project. The project aims to expand ITS infrastructure on the Selmon Expressway to create full coverage for its traffic incident management system, providing real-time data to support and enhance system operations, safety, asset management, emergency response and management, and long-term planning. The scope of work includes designing and building a full-coverage ITS system, an upgraded lighting system, and roadway improvements such as existing pavement resurfacing and placement of rumble strips on shoulders. • The project requires the design and construction of ITS infrastructure, including ancillary structural work necessary for the installation of ITS equipment. • The project also includes the upgrade of the existing lighting system and the implementation of additional traffic safety measures along the corridor. • The Authority seeks to improve the overall safety and efficiency of the Selmon Expressway through this project.
