26-011 Naples Landings Improvement Project - FWQ (Re-Bid)

The City of Naples is seeking a qualified vendor to provide improvements to the Naples Landings wooden walkover sections. The project includes renovating the ramp to restrooms, walkway from dock to playground, and retaining wall. The contractor will be required to remove and replace all decking, mid, and handrails, and replace/repair joists, posts, and support beams as needed. The contractor must also ensure that all lumber is pressure-treated #1 with an ACQ rating of 0.40 or greater and that all galvanized hardware is replaced with like kind. The project requires the contractor to be on site every day until completion. Key aspects of the project include: • Renovating the ramp to restrooms (approx. 230 SF) • Renovating the walkway from dock to playground (approx. 650 SF) • Replacing the retaining wall (approx. 65 LF) • Ensuring all lumber is pressure-treated #1 with an ACQ rating of 0.40 or greater • Replacing all galvanized hardware with like kind • Installing decking bark side up unless cupped otherwise • Sanding finished handrails and cut edges to prevent slivering • Disposing of all demoed material
