Architecture and Systems Engineering (ASE) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Request for Information (RFI)

The Department of the Air Force is seeking information from industry regarding their capabilities in providing systems engineering, architecture, and technical support to the Department of War (DoW) or other federal agencies on programs of similar scope and complexity. The specific areas of interest include modeling and simulation, model-based systems engineering, technology exploration and architecture demonstration, evaluation event management, and security. The information provided will be used by the Department of the Air Force to ascertain industry interest and capabilities to participate in the PAE C3BM and AFRL ASE system engineering and architecture management and development. Some key points to consider are: • Overall experience in providing systems engineering, architecture, and technical support • Past performance on relevant contracts • Personnel qualifications, certifications, and clearance levels • Facility capabilities, including cleared labs and simulation environments • Approach to modeling and simulation, including tools and frameworks • Proficiency in model-based systems engineering methodologies and tools • Experience with technology exploration and architecture demonstration • Event management approach, including planning, execution, and analysis • Security capabilities, including support for multiple classification levels and access to government systems.
