Description
The Walker County Board of Education is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, deliver, install, and commission a new “Serving Line – Lupton” for its Child Nutrition Program. The equipment must be new, current‑production‑year, and the vendor must be an authorized distributor or able to procure from one. Delivery is FOB each school cafeteria, with the contractor responsible for uncrating, installation, final connections, and removal of all packaging material. A mandatory site visit must be arranged before bid submission, and the contractor must be prepared to provide a cost‑free demonstration or samples if requested. The contract includes a 5 % bid bond (capped at $10,000), insurance requirements, and compliance certifications (E‑Verify, debarment, immigration affidavit, etc.). All work must be completed by September 16 2026.
