Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide annual testing, maintenance, and compliance verification of 93 backflow prevention assemblies at the VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics in White City, Oregon. The contractor will be responsible for performing tests, repairs, and maintenance on the assemblies, as well as providing documentation and reporting to the VA and the Medford Water Commission. The contractor must be certified as a Backflow Assembly Tester and have experience with backflow prevention assembly testing and repair.
Some key tasks and requirements include:
* Testing of all 93 backflow prevention assemblies using Oregon Health Authority-approved methods
* Corrective maintenance for failed assemblies
* Installation compliance review per Oregon Administrative Rules and Medford Water Commission standards
* Furnishing, installing, and commissioning the Mojave Monitor dry vacuum system or like model
* Providing documentation and reporting to the VA and the Medford Water Commission
