Storage Containers

The Zone 7 Water Agency is seeking quotations for the purchase of two new or one-trip 40-foot steel shipping containers for use as secure outdoor storage. The containers must meet specific requirements, including exterior dimensions, condition, construction, doors, color, and markings. The contractor shall furnish and deliver the containers, transport them to the agency's designated location, and provide a manufacturer's standard warranty. The agency reserves the right to inspect the containers upon delivery and accept them only if they meet all specified requirements. • The containers must be new or one-trip, wind and watertight, and structurally sound. • The containers must have full-width double cargo doors on one end and two roll-up doors on one side. • The containers must be constructed of corrosion-resistant steel with marine-grade steel flooring. • The contractor must provide a manufacturer's standard warranty and warrant that the containers are free from defects in materials and workmanship.
