The U.S. Navy’s Fleet Readiness Center Mid‑Atlantic is conducting a market‑research Sources‑Sought to identify qualified 8(a) firms capable of delivering comprehensive Level‑II (intermediate) aircraft maintenance support services at the Patuxent River, MD facility. The effort will encompass engine, airframe, avionics, support‑equipment, hazardous‑material, calibration, and armament maintenance, staffed by an estimated 355 full‑time equivalents over a base period of one year with four additional one‑year options. The contract will be set‑aside for 8(a) small businesses, require CMMC Level 2 certification, and demand Tier‑3 security clearances. • Provide intermediate‑level (I‑LEVEL/LEVEL II) maintenance for aircraft, engines, APU, propellers, avionics, and related support equipment. • Staff the effort with ~355 FTEs (≈19 key personnel and ~73 trade‑level staff) on‑site at NAS Patuxent River, complying with extensive safety, HAZMAT, and quality‑assurance requirements (AS9110C). • Meet 8(a) small‑business set‑aside rules, maintain CMMC Level 2 compliance, and obtain Tier‑3 clearances for all personnel.
