Description
The Jenison Public Schools is seeking a vendor to provide structured cabling services for 12 school buildings. The scope of work includes furnishing, installing, and terminating data jacks, abating existing cable, installing cable in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations, testing and documenting the cabling system, and providing a written guarantee/warranty for the installed system. The project is expected to be completed between July 1, 2026, and September 30, 2026.
• The vendor must provide a comprehensive and detailed bill of materials for all proposed structured cabling components and equipment.
• The vendor must test 100% of all cables and termination hardware for defects in installation and verify cable performance under installed conditions.
• The vendor must provide a written guarantee/warranty covering the installed cabling system against defects in workmanship, components, and performance for a period of three years.
• The vendor must provide a project implementation schedule that adheres to the timeline requirements stated in the RFP.
• The vendor must demonstrate that they have the resources necessary to fulfill the timeline requirements for completing the entire project.
