Description
The County of Maui, Department of Water Supply is seeking bids for the furnishing and delivery of one (1) triplex water booster pump skid package. The package must meet the minimum specifications outlined in the bid document, including a flow rate of 43 GPM, boost pressure of 180 FT / 78 PSI, and a 5 HP electric motor. The successful bidder will be required to deliver the package to the Lahaina Water Treatment Plant within 90 calendar days of the "Notice to Proceed" issued by the Department of Water Supply. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
• The package must include a vertical multistage pump with a suction size of 2 inches and a discharge size of 2 inches.
• The electric motor must be 460V, 3 phase, with a horsepower rating of 5 HP and a full load amp rating of 5.9.
• The control panel must include a variable frequency drive and meet the specified voltage, frequency, and enclosure rating requirements.
• The system piping and configuration must meet the specified requirements, including a header size of 3 inches and a velocity of 5.9 ft/sec.
