Description
The US Air Force is seeking a trailer-mounted 1000kW load bank for Ramstein Air Base. The load bank must be a mobile, high-capacity load-absorbing unit designed for durability and safe transport. It must accept medium-voltage inputs of 2400V and 4160V and provide adjustable load steps up to 1000 kW. The system must include integrated cooling, over-temperature protection, and digital monitoring for real-time display of voltage, current, frequency, and power factor. The trailer must be road-ready and equipped with stabilizing outriggers, weather-resistant enclosures, and secure access panels.
• The load bank must be capable of continuous full-load operation under varying environmental conditions.
• The trailer must be big enough to transport the load bank.
• The system must include compliant grounding, medium-voltage connection points, and safety interlocks to ensure proper operation with BPUs.
