Description
The Department of Developmental Services is soliciting bids for laundry services, including general and healthcare laundry services, as well as additional services such as bundling, counting, sorting, and plastic wrapping. The contract term is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2028, with a one-year option to extend. The contractor must have three years of experience providing laundry services to a commercial account and have onsite production capabilities to produce the minimum number of pounds of laundry per day required for the Canyon Springs Community Facility.
• The contractor will be evaluated based on comparison of rates provided for standard laundry services, healthcare laundry services, and delivery charges.
• The contractor must provide copies of all required licenses and permits as required by the city, county, or both.
• The contractor must comply with all requirements of the IFB, including the submission of a bid package with all required attachments.
• The contractor must have a drug-free workplace policy and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The contractor must provide a certification of compliance with California civil rights laws and certify that it is not a scrutinized company under the Darfur Contracting Act.
