Description
The City of Soperton, Georgia is seeking bids for the construction of sewerage system improvements. The project includes the rehabilitation of 238 L.F. of 8-inch sewer line, 1,153 L.F. of 8-inch and 4,411 L.F. of 10-inch sanitary sewer using trenchless pipe replacement, and other related work. The project is funded by a Community Development Block Grant and is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements. The city is committed to providing equal access to its services, programs, activities, education, and employment regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, disability or age.
• The project requires a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License and a state "Utility Manager" certificate holder.
• The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements.
• The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
• The project is funded by a Community Development Block Grant.
• The project includes the rehabilitation of existing manholes, replacement of concrete sidewalk, asphalt replacement, and other related work.
