Description
The US Coast Guard is soliciting bids for the major maintenance and repair of 17 single-family standalone homes at the USCG Montauk Springs Family Housing in East Hampton, NY. The project includes the replacement of septic systems, well decommissioning, HVAC system replacement, roofing and gutter replacement, site feature replacement, interior and exterior repairs, electrical and plumbing upgrades, kitchen and bathroom renovation, flooring restoration, and interior finishing. The estimated value of the procurement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The performance period is estimated to be 730 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
Key features of the project include:
• Replacement of septic systems with new town-approved low-nitrogen systems
• Decommissioning of existing wells and installation of new domestic water service laterals
• Replacement of HVAC systems in all specified homes
• Replacement of roof and gutter systems on all specified homes
