154’ FRC Docking Cart - Initial Certification

The United States Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to provide services for the initial certification of a 154’ FRC Docking Cart Assembly. The contractor will conduct inspections, including non-destructive testing, and provide a certification report that meets the requirements stated in the SFLC STD Spec 8634. The work will be performed at the USCG Yard in Baltimore, MD, and the contractor will have 30 days to complete the work after load testing. The key aspects of this job include: • Conducting all necessary inspections required to issue initial certification for the FRC Docking Cart Assembly • Providing a Certification Report that includes a signed and sealed Appendix B-2, completed Appendix B-23 and B-24, inspection overview, proof testing, inspection findings, and surveyor’s endorsement • Meeting the requirements stated in the SFLC STD Spec 8634 and the referenced drawings • Performing work at the USCG Yard in Baltimore, MD • Completing the work within 30 days of load testing
