Description

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is seeking information from vendors capable of performing in-field safety verification services for unaccompanied alien children (UAC) released from the Office of Refugee Resettlement. The goal is to locate and verify the safety of these children, confirm their location and custody, and check for signs of abuse, abandonment, neglect, or trafficking. The program is estimated to last for two years and will involve investigating thousands of cases weekly, with a goal of investigating approximately 300,000 cases within one year. • The vendor should have experience with similar programs that support the verification of child safety. • The vendor should have experience working with the Office of Refugee Resettlement's infrastructure and the UAC population. • The vendor should have experience working with state and local agencies, including law enforcement, school districts, and child welfare agencies. • The vendor should have a data management system to track and monitor program success. • The vendor should provide a rough cost estimate for the program and the rationale for such costs.

Budget estimate

$10,000,000 – $50,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a specific budget or cost range. However, based on the scope of the program, which involves investigating thousands of cases weekly and verifying the safety of approximately 300,000 children within one year, the cost is likely to be substantial. The vendor should provide a rough cost estimate for the program, which will likely be in the tens of millions of dollars. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the vendor's experience, the complexity of the program, and the level of support services required.
