Middle Branch of the Clinton River Drain Flow Conveyance Improvements

The Macomb County Public Works Office is seeking proposals from qualified companies to improve flow conveyance by drain bank stabilization, sediment removal, log jam removals, and other tasks. The project is a county drain project and is exempt from wetlands and floodplain requirements. The consultant should prepare a desktop review, complete the NRCS form - CPA-52 Environmental Evaluation Worksheet form, and obtain Michigan Section 106 clearance from SHPO. The proposal should include all services and fees required for a full submittal. • The project is located between 21 and 25 Mile Roads, Macomb Township, Macomb County. • The project scope includes improving flow conveyance by drain bank stabilization, sediment removal, log jam removals, etc. • The consultant should prepare a desktop review that includes both above ground and archaeological resources. • The proposal should include all services and fees required for a full submittal. • The consultant should provide an estimate of hours for additional investigations should SHPO require additional efforts.
