The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane is soliciting a sole source contract for the procurement of Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRA), Test Requirement Documents (TRDs), Logistics Product Data (LPD), and Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) for the AN/ZPY-3(v)2 Multi-Function Active Sensor (MFAS) Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRA). The contract is for supplies, and the Government intends to negotiate with one source, Northrop Grumman. The requirement is being solicited on a sole source basis because Northrop Grumman Systems Corp is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and they are unwilling to sell the complete data package to the Government to allow for full and open competition.
• The MFAS system is also known as AN/ZPY-3 and is the air-to-surface maritime radar system providing persistent broad area surveillance and reconnaissance data in maritime, littoral, and overland environments.
• The contract includes the procurement of two Auxiliary Synchronizer, Programmed SRAs and one WBIF Receiver, Programmed TRD, LPD, and EDFP.
• Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
• Questions or inquiries should be directed to Gavin Thompson, phone: (812) 381-2514, email: gavin.d.thompson2.civ@us.navy.mil.
