Description
The City of Douglas is seeking competitive sealed proposals from qualified subcontractors for the renovation of WW2 Hangar #2 (North Hangar) and WW2 Hangar #3 (South Hangar). The project involves pre-engineered metal building roofing/trim, TPO roofing/trim, and painting/caulking. A pre-proposal conference will be held on June 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the City of Douglas City Hall. Proposals must be submitted by June 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The successful subcontractor will be required to use a Harper/Lewis Subcontract Agreement form for all contracted work.
• The project requires a bid security with proposal form, which must be 5% of the proposal sum.
• The successful proposer's security will be retained until they sign the contract agreement and furnish the required performance and payment bonds and insurance certificates.
• The construction manager reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any technicalities and formalities.
