INSTALLATION & TESTING OF TEN UPPER FLORIDIAN AQUIFER (UFA) WATER SUPPLY WELLS

The City of Cape Coral is seeking bids for the installation and testing of ten Upper Floridian Aquifer (UFA) water supply wells. The project includes site preparation, construction, development, and testing of the wells, as well as geophysical and video logging, specific capacity pumping tests, and acidization if necessary. The contractor will also be responsible for conducting 72-hour constant rate aquifer performance tests, preparing as-builts and survey plats, and installing temporary wellhead flanges, fenced compounds, and concrete pads for each well. • The project involves drilling and testing of ten 12-inch diameter by approximately 800-foot-deep water supply wells. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and personnel to complete the project. • The city will hold a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on November 18, 2025, at 8:30 AM (ET), followed by site visits to the 10 well sites. • Bids will be publicly opened on December 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM (ET).
