710 Sherman Pkwy Roof Replacement-NHPD

The City of New Haven is seeking bids for the replacement of the upper roof at 710 Sherman Parkway. The project includes removing existing roofing, drain assemblies, insulation, and flashings, as well as remediating existing ACM tar flashing. The contractor will also replace deteriorated portions of the metal deck, raise the existing mechanical equipment roof hatch, and extend plumbing vents. Additionally, the contractor will perform masonry repair on the chimney and parapet and install a new roofing and insulation assembly, drains, and flashings. • The bid bond required is yes, and the state wage rate is yes. • The city reserves the right to reject any bid where an investigation of the available evidence or information does not satisfy the city that the bidder is qualified to carry out properly the terms of the contract. • The city requires all contractual work to be insured as identified in the insurance requirements section of the document. • The contractor is responsible for all fees associated with permits. • The provisions of this contract relating to payment for products or services shall become effective when funds assigned for the purpose of compensating the contractor are actually available for disbursement.
