The City of Redding is seeking a qualified contractor to haul approximately 3,400 tons of de‑watered sludge from Pond 2 at the Clear Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant to the West Central landfill. The contract is a lump‑sum public‑works bid that includes a water‑pollution‑control component and requires the contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, water‑truck services, and erosion‑control measures. Work must commence within five calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed and be completed within ten working days thereafter.
• Load, stock‑pile, and transport 3,400 tons of sludge using non‑bottom‑dump trucks and transfer trailers.
• Provide water‑truck services, dust and sediment control, and submit weight tickets for each haul.
• Submit required bonding (≥ 10 % of bid), licensing, DIR registration, off‑road diesel fleet certification, and compliance documents with the sealed bid.
