Description
The United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, is soliciting for a Non-Personal Architect-Engineer (A-E) Services contract for cadastral surveying services in the Southern Region, Cherokee National Forest. The contract will be for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, with a total value not exceeding $9 million. The contractor will provide A-E services, including professional land survey services, for various projects, such as retracement and survey of National Forest boundaries, marking and posting of boundaries, and preparation of surveyor's reports and plats. The contractor will also be responsible for resolving conflicts and disputes related to boundary lines and corners.
Key services to be provided include:
• Retracement and survey of National Forest boundaries
• Marking and posting of National Forest boundaries
• Monumentation of new and recovery of lost or obliterated boundary corners
• Maintenance of boundary lines and corners
• Preparation of surveyor's reports and plats
• Scanning and indexing of land and survey records
• Drone mapping and surveying
• Engineering surveys, including topographic surveys of potential construction sites
