Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for a flooring replacement project at the Baltimore VAMC. The project involves replacing old VCT flooring with new Luxury Vinyl Tile and installing new vinyl wall base. The contractor will be responsible for delivering and installing the materials, ensuring proper preparation of the sub-floor, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The project requires a high level of technical expertise and experience in flooring installation.
Some key requirements include:
• Providing active means to control airborne dust and ensuring worker clothing is clean and free of visible dust
• Removing existing base trim and molding and installing new base trim
• Using adhesives and materials that comply with applicable regulations and are low-VOC
• Ensuring the quality of all work performed and providing a 1-year warranty for installation and all work
