4140--ABB Variable Frequency Drives - Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Fuller Engineering Company, LLC for the supply and delivery of ABB Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. The procurement includes VFDs, documentation, warranties, and start-up services. The VFDs are required to replace aging units in air handling units (AHUs) 37A and 37B servicing the 4th floor operating room suites. The Government believes that Fuller Engineering Company is the only vendor capable of providing the required VFDs and start-up services in the time required.
