Elevator Modernization Infrastructure

The County of Wayne is requesting bids for the design, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing for the installation of passenger elevators in Lincoln Hall A & B and the Medical Examiner’s Office buildings. The selected bidder shall collaborate closely with the elevator manufacturer and designated County representative to ensure the seamless, safe, and code-compliant integration of all building systems. The bidder is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and ensuring that all work complies with applicable licensing and structural requirements set forth by local, county, state, and federal agencies. • The project includes the installation of elevators in three buildings: Lincoln Hall A, Lincoln Hall B, and the Medical Examiner’s Office. • The bidder must have five years of experience providing engineering, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction services for elevators in commercial buildings. • The bidder must have worked on at least three comparable projects within the past three years. • The bidder must be a licensed contractor in the state of Michigan. • The contract term is for two years from the date of award, with one additional year extension option.
