Description
The US Air Force is seeking a prefabricated gate shack for the 174th Attack Wing in Syracuse, NY. The shack must meet specific minimum specifications, including being 5' wide x 8' long x 8' high, with a UL752 Level 3 ballistic rating. The contractor must deliver and install the shack within 120 days of award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced offeror.
• The shack must have a 3" structural steel tubing frame and insulation with an R-18 rating.
• The exterior walls must be made of 1/4" certified steel plates with a UL752 Level 3 rating.
• The shack must have two 36" x 80" bullet-resistant doors and 360-degree view bullet-resistant windows.
• The contractor must remove and dispose of the existing gate shack at their own expense.
• The contract includes a site visit, but attendance is not mandatory.
