Arnold AFB Independent Air Supply

The Air Force Test Center’s Installation Contracting Division (AFTC/PZI) at Arnold Air Force Base (AFB) is seeking sources that are interested in and capable of meeting the Government’s requirement to upgrade the independent air supply to a test facility at Arnold AFB, TN. The project includes design, analysis, procurement, fabrication, installation, inspection, demonstration, and testing necessary to provide complete and functional temperature-controlled air supply to the test cell. The scope of work includes modifications to the process air, utility distribution, electrical, and controls systems. The Government intends to hold a site visit and is encouraging interested parties to submit their company overview and technical capabilities to meet the subject requirement. Key points to consider: • The project requires the installation of compressors, dryers, heaters, and expansion turbines to provide a secondary, dedicated conditioned air supply to the existing test cell. • The project includes all utilities, power, equipment, and controls required to support the new process air equipment. • The Government is seeking a complete and functional temperature-controlled air supply system. • The project has several milestones, including a project kickoff meeting, requirements review, preliminary design review, and final design review. • The Government is encouraging interested parties to recommend a NAICS code for consideration.
