Description
The Southeastern Louisiana University is seeking bids to furnish North Oak Park maintenance for the Physical Plant Department. The contract term will be from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with the possibility of four 12-month extensions. The successful bidder will be responsible for routine maintenance, including mowing and string trimming turf areas, edging concrete areas, blowing debris from paved surfaces, and picking up litter. The bidder must also provide a one-time initial cleanup.
Some key requirements include:
• Mowing and string trimming turf areas weekly during the growing season
• Edging concrete areas
• Blowing debris from paved surfaces
• Picking up litter from the entire grounds at each visit
• Spraying non-selective herbicide as needed to maintain aggregate areas and concrete cracks free of weeds
• Pruning low-hanging branches and suckers from the base of crepe myrtles
• Picking up fallen branches
The bidder must also provide proof of insurance, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability.
