The US Army is seeking a contractor to provide a prebuilt modular home with a screened-in outdoor porch. The building must be designed and constructed to meet specific requirements, including fire protection and life safety systems. The contractor must provide a complete set of plans and specifications for all aspects of the fire protection design and installation. The project includes the design and installation of fire alarm and detection systems, sprinkler systems, and suppression systems. The contractor must also provide testing and commissioning of the fire protection systems. The building must be constructed on a concrete pad with piers to serve as building supports. The contractor must also install stairs, railing, water distribution systems, sewer systems, and electrical systems. • The building must have a standing seam metal roof, engineered wood lap siding, and insulated single-hung low-E vinyl windows. • The building must have a kitchen with a refrigerator, gas range, and microwave, as well as a full bathroom with a tile shower and glass door. • The building must have a furniture package, including a sectional sofa, beds, and a 42-inch wall-mounted TV. • The contractor must provide a fire protection engineer who has passed the fire protection engineering written examination and has at least 5 years of experience. • The contractor must submit a written copy of the fire protection engineer's resume and a letter attesting to their compliance with the requirements.
