Purchase of Lithium Battery Packs

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking to purchase 60 custom lithium battery packs for use in GPS mooring buoys. The battery packs must meet specific technical requirements, including a maximum diameter of 5.85 inches and a maximum height of 5 inches. The contractor must deliver the battery packs within 45 days of award. The government intends to award a low-priced, technically acceptable, single firm fixed-price purchase order on an all-or-none basis with payment terms of Net 30. • The battery packs will be used to power buoy systems for a NASA project called SWOT. • The contractor must provide verification of country of manufacture for the offered products. • The contractor must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. • The government will evaluate offers based on price and technical acceptability.
