NODC Outdoor Recreational Area

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is seeking a qualified supplier to furnish and install a fenced-in poured-in-place (PIP) rubber surfacing for an outdoor recreational area at the Northwest Ohio Developmental Center (NODC) for use by residents. The project includes site preparation, installation of a compacted aggregate base layer, and pour-in-place safety surfacing. The contractor will also be responsible for installing a 2-rail split-rail fence around the PIP area. • The project requires a fenced-in 20' x 20' pour-in-place rubber surfacing area. • The contractor must provide temporary fencing to keep individuals out of the work area during the project. • The contractor must complete the work during the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, unless prior arrangements are made with the Developmental Center's project contact person. • The contractor must provide all parts, labor, and fees associated with acquiring any necessary permits required to complete the project. • The contractor must comply with all applicable provisions of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
