Requests for Qualifications Annual Consulting Services

The City of Social Circle is seeking qualified consultants in the areas of engineering, planning, permitting, natural gas, plan review, and management. The goal is to develop an agreement with one or more consulting firms to meet specific needs in project design services, construction services, plan review, and project management for the natural gas department. The agreement will be considered "on-call" with task orders issued to the consultant by the city for general and specific tasks, as well as an ongoing agreement for specific services. The key responsibilities of the consultant include providing planning, design, drafting, and engineering services, and the city will provide full information about its requirements for the project, make available data and information pertinent to the project, and guarantee access to public and private property as required for the consultant to perform its services. Some of the key services include: • Topographic and aerial surveys • Ecological and environmental permitting • Conceptual and preliminary engineering studies • Writing technical memorandums • Building and site architecture • Natural gas infrastructure design • DOT permitting • GIS and asset management • Policy assistance • Bid proposals, project management, design, and other tasks as needed. The city will evaluate the responsive Statements of Qualifications based on qualifications, experience, project management approach, cost, and local vendor preference.
