Description
The U.S. Army is seeking a qualified contractor to perform on‑site electrical maintenance and retrofit work on the Devlieg 4W72 milling machine located at Rock Island Arsenal. The contractor must evaluate the equipment, execute the retrofit, reinstall, start‑up, and test the machine without removing it from the installation site. All Government‑furnished equipment must remain on‑site throughout the effort. The effort includes compliance with Army contracting and payment procedures (WAWF).
• Scope: On‑site electrical retrofit, installation, start‑up, and testing of a large industrial mill.
• Location: Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Illinois.
• Restrictions: Machine and all GFE may not be removed from the site.
• Contracting: Amendment changes the point of contact to Christine Szalo; standard FAR/DFARS clauses apply; payments processed via WAWF.
• Required capabilities: Experience with industrial machinery electrical systems, ability to work on‑site under Army security requirements.
