The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is seeking bids for the construction of a new two-story office building at 818 S. 10th St., Council Bluffs, Iowa 51501. The building is approximately 14,136 SF and includes forty offices, breakrooms, restrooms, conference rooms, mechanical space, and lobby area. The project involves general construction, roofing, conveying systems, fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and communications work. The bid form must be submitted online through the State’s IMPACS Electronic Procurement System. • The project requires compliance with all Federal and State Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity requirements. • The project requires conformity to the Iowa State Building Code. • The bidder must provide proof of insurance coverage and required surety bonds. • The bidder must identify all subcontractors and suppliers within 48 hours of the published date and time for which bids must be submitted. • The bidder must comply with the Reciprocal Resident Bidder Preference, per Iowa Code 73A.21.
