Description
The United States Air Force is seeking a professional Air Boss and associated services for the production and execution of the 2027 Beale Air Show. The Air Boss will be responsible for providing all personnel, labor, materials, equipment, management, supervision, coordination, lodging, and transportation required to accomplish this work. The contractor must have recent, relevant experience as the lead Air Boss for a minimum of two military air shows within the last two years, and must demonstrate expertise in air show operations, safety, and regulatory compliance. The Air Boss will work closely with the Air Show Director, performers, and involved agencies to ensure a dynamic, safe, and seamless performance. Some key responsibilities include:
• Developing and producing a detailed air show schedule and flight sequence
• Conducting pre-show safety briefings and inter-agency coordination
• Providing subject matter expert guidance for FAA documentation and waiver support
• Exercising safe and efficient operational control of the waivered airspace
• Serving as the primary liaison with the FAA, FSDO, and emergency services personnel
