Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs, San Diego VA Health Care System is seeking a hardware and software solution to improve mailing and reproduction operations. The contractor will provide Reproduction Automation Printer and Mail Equipment Lease and supplies, including installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment. The contractor must provide training for key operators and ensure that all hardware and software meet the required specifications. The contract will be for a base period of 12 months, with four 12-month option periods. The contractor must also provide a toll-free telephone number for service calls and have sufficient management and qualified dedicated technicians to service the entire solution.
• The contractor must provide a color production digital printer engine or equivalent with a minimum speed of 95 ppm full color and black/white.
• The contractor must provide a monochrome production digital printer engine or equivalent with a minimum speed of 136 ppm black/white.
• The contractor must provide an intelligent inserter with a 3-station tower, accumulate and divert, conveyor, and furniture.
• The contractor must provide a mail metering and shipping system with a USPS-based IMI meter.
• The contractor must provide mail order software that can interface with ScriptPro and combine UPS, USPS, and FedEx, as well as other mail systems.
