The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is seeking a single-source purchase for the 2027 National Survey of Fishing, Hunting, and Wildlife-Associated Recreation. The survey aims to provide participation rates and expenditures associated with hunting, fishing, and wildlife-watching in Florida. The intended single source is the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago, which is conducting the 2027 National Survey of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
The key requirements of the project include:
• Implementing additional sampling in Florida to complement the national survey
• Distributing the same survey questionnaire used at the national level to enable comparisons to national trends
• Collecting data from January 2027 through March 2028
• Implementing both probability and non-probability sampling to enhance coverage in a cost-effective manner
• Providing a weighted dataset, a thorough report on results, a presentation slide deck displaying results, and additional analytic support
