The State of Illinois, Department of Corrections, is seeking bids for the procurement of fire-rated SCBA's (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus), full face respirators, and additional aluminum cylinders. The equipment must be rated for use in fire situations and meet specific requirements. The contract is for a small purchase, and the bid opening date is October 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM CST. • The scope of work includes the delivery of 9 SCBA 4500 psi aluminum cylinders with 30-minute air capacity and AV-3000 full face respirators, as well as 4 SCBA 4500 psi aluminum cylinders with 30-minute air capacity. • The equipment must be new and meet the requirements specified in the Administrative Directive 05.02.111. • The vendor shall deliver the goods to the Hill Correctional Center, and the prices quoted must be F.O.B. DESTINATION, including all transportation and handling costs. • The contract term is from the date of final signatures to June 30, 2026. • The State reserves the right to award the bid in whole or in part and to reject any or all bids.
